Armani Martin is a narrative and commercial filmmaker, a proud 2024-2025 RideBack Rise Circle Co-Hort, and the owner of June Entertainment. Hailing from Chicago, IL, and now lives in Los Angeles, CA.
Armani’s universal body of work makes her multifaceted and proficient in a number of areas in the film industry. Armani’s debut short film, Deus ex Machina, starring Patrick Walker and Priah Ferguson, premiered at the BronzeLens Film Festival, where it won the Best Short Film award and ranked in the Top 10 at ABFF for the HBO Short Film Award, and Best Director at LA Shorts Awards. It won four consecutive awards before its Direct TV and Aspire TV release. Her second short film, Stripes, earned the prestigious African American Film Critics Association Short Film Award. Armani followed it up with a family dramedy feature, All I Want For Christmas, starring Erica Peeples on Hulu.
Her experience spans producing executed branded content, docu-series, and commercials for global brands like Capitol Records, Warner Music, Sony, Target, Jordan, and more. She has cultivated meaningful relationships in the Hip Hop industry by producing and directing for some of the biggest stars in music such as Chance The Rapper, Migos, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, Megan The Stallion, and a live performance for The Tonight’s Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, to name a few.
As a trusted connector and creative – Armani is renowned for her boundless innovation, often sought after to bring music and television to life in groundbreaking ways. By 22, Armani co-developed her first television show, which airs on WeTV, began producing several unscripted television series, and had a drama series signed to UTA in collaboration with rapper Pusha T.
Between directing jobs, Armani works as a producer, giving back to our shining youth, playing tennis, exploring her love for fashion, and serving on the Board of Directors of Invest Atlanta’s Creative Industries Grant Fund and Unlimited Women’s Initiative. She is currently developing and writing projects that emits light on social issues.
